Meet Kelly
Kelly Whittaker-Cummings is a lifelong athlete who has turned her passion into her profession. With 47 (including 11 Boston Marathons and a 2:58:08 PR in Chicago) full marathons, countless half marathons and 5ks, and 2 ultramarathons under her belt, she knows what it takes to train hard and run with grit.
However, it’s not all about chasing PRs. Kelly has made it her mission to train athletes on every level. Whether you’re looking for guidance to run your millionth marathon, to qualify for Boston, or even just to run one mile, she is here to help you train for your running goals.

In addition to being a USATF and VO2 certified run coach, Kelly has numerous strength certifications and is a full-time Chief Instructor at Barry’s. She believes that a balanced routine of building mileage (with the correct structure!) and strength training, as well as proper fueling and hydration, are the keys to success.
Kelly has coached thousands of people in her decade-plus fitness career, and would love to work with you to make some big goals a reality - or just to help you incorporate health and fitness into your daily routine!
In addition to running (lots!) of miles and lifting weights, Kelly believes in a work hard, play hard mentality! In her free time, she loves reading, cooking, the beach, long walks with her wife and two golden retrievers, and of course - ICE CREAM!
